i could use everyone's help with this.

the little dude we take care of from time to time, corey, was admitted to a psych hospital recently. he's been on various medications for hyperactivity, and recently has become much more violent and resistant to anyone's help. he told a social worker that he hears voices that tell him he's a bad, stupid kid and when he closes his eyes he sees demons. we're not sure if it's a side effect of the extreme medication that they have him on, or something else.

i'm only asking everyone to say a quick prayer for him, have a little moment where you send good energy to him, whatever. regardless of your spiritual choices, he would benefit from any type of positive energy flow.

i think of him like the little brother i never had, and i love him dearly.

thanks, ♥

Chicago has a strange metaphysical elegance of death about it.
- - - Claes Oldenburg

Could anything be more indicative of a slight but general insanity than the aspect of the crowd on the streets of Chicago?
Charles Horton Cooley "Human Nature and the Social Order," 1902

Chicago is the product of modern capitalism, and, like other great commercial centers, is unfit for human habitation.
- - - Eugene Debs, 1908

That's great advertising when you can turn Chicago into a city you'd want to spend more than three hours in.
- - - Jerry Della Femina

There's only one thing for Chicago to do, and that's to move to a better neighborhood.
- - - Herman Fetzer

No realistic, sane person goes around Chicago without protection.
- - - Saul Bellow
